TODO:

for 0.70 release:
-Add Python to the engine, phase out aries
Shipyard:
  -Add a shop to buy stuff for ship hulls, and force this shop to
   contain at least one engine from an FPK.
  -If starting ship shop contains only one engine, allow a scenario
   option to automatically add that engine to the ship selected at no
   cost.
  -Make shields buyable (in shop), and not default on ships, but keep
   shield image for each ship, and make having a shield image necessary.
  -Make the scenario system require the purchase of an engine at
   startup, and keep existing engine when buying a new ship hull
-Allow scenario system to require the purchase of a number of different
 types of items (engine is the only default requirement and not
 overridable)
-Allow engines to have no warp drive
-Add display images for the engines just put in the fpks
-Buttons 1 through 10 as throttle control
-Work on cargo economy a bit more
-Sell bays, and trade in bays.  If a bay is on a ship, try to transfer it
 to the new ship.  If that doesn't work, sell off cargo or weapon, then
 bay, to the shop on the station.

-A near-complete (or at least added to modularly) scenario system
-More advanced Artificial Intelligence in ships
-Beginnings of tools for use creating scenarios, maps, and FPKs

for 1.0 release:
-Fully complete tools for use in making scenarios, maps, and FPKs
-At least 2 major scenarios which include multiple missions, both required
 and not required
-At least 3 "training" missions that can serve to familiarize the user
 with gameplay (tutorial like missions)
-A good amount of planet, ship, solar, etc art
-Gravity, collisions, and movement (acceleration based or direction based)
 as per scenario or per ship options
-RPMs and DEB packages for major Linux distros
-Star systems and Races that have fleets which you can join, fight, or
 work alongside with.
-Construction yards, Space Docks, Space Stations, and new starships.
-Own and operate multiple starships from your own central location, which
 you buy the rights to after earning enough.
-Hidden races, star systems, and features.

Whenever I can get to it:
-Make the game faster or more effecient somehow
-Shield (needs a bit more work, like making it invisible except when hit)
-White flash at warp
-Add OpenGL support

Later than 1.0 goals:
-Possibility for multiple players to play client to client, or Massive Multiplayer online style client to server.
